Holy Week Services remaining
Maundy Thursday - April 18th 6:00 pm
Service starts in St. Nicholas Hall with a simple dinner, scripture is read throughout, then the footwashing remembering Jesus washing his disciples feet. Then Holy Eucharist around the tables, as we remember the Last Supper, followed by the stripping of the Altar in the church. There is a prayer vigil throughout the night to share in the disciples being asked to pray for one hour as Jesus prayed in the Garden.
Good Friday - April 19 12 noon and 7:00 pm
We pray the Stations of the Cross at 12 noon to commemorate Jesus' journey to the cross. At 7:00 pm we read the Passion of Jesus from St. John's gospel, and pray the solemn prayers for the church and the world. We end with the veneration of the Cross.
The Great Vigil of Easter - Saturday, April 20th 8 :00 pm
One of the most ancient services of the Church. It starts with the lighting of the new fire from which the Paschal Candle is lit. There is chanting, stories of God's salvation through the generations, the renewal of baptismal vows and the first Eucharist of Easter. A beautiful service.

The 8:00 am service is spoken and 10:30 am service is with organ and choir. There will be a reception in St. Nicholas Hall after the late service as well as an Easter Egg hunt for young children.
